Ocean Gardens Inc is a not-for-profit incorporated association managed by an experienced Board and Senior Management. Our goal is to ensure that the Village is a suitable and desirable place to live for our residents. We are part way through our strategic plan to make Ocean Gardens the premium retirement village in Perth and WA. Also, to ensure that the organisations and residents financial investment is protected and enhanced.
We anticipate that your villa or apartment will grow in value at around the same rate as residential property in City Beach. However, when you sell your villa or apartment, a significant part of the sale proceeds will go to Ocean Gardens under the Lease Agreement similar to the majority of villages.
The village is funded primarily by taking a share of the proceeds of sale. This money funds all major works and preventative maintenance in the village and the upkeep of villas and apartments. The village is nearing the end of a$6 million upgrade which is being funded by the village’s share of past sale proceeds.
Ocean Gardens is a not-for-profit organisation,which means that all its income is spent on the village. No dividends orother payments are made to investors or shareholders. When you buy aproperty in Ocean Gardens, you benefit from the money raised from all the previous property sales and when you sell your property you will contribute to the financial well-being of the village, which will benefit future residents.
Please also recognise that the home you buy in Ocean Gardens will cost significantly less than purchasing a private residence in City Beach. You will be purchasing not just a home in City beach but also a part of a clubhouse, restaurant, swimming pool, extensive gardens and many other facilities. And you will be living in a community with access to many services including 24 hour onsite emergency care. You will be investing in a lifestyle.
Buying ahome in Ocean Gardens will not be the best financial investment you will ever make and it is not intended to be. But it may be the best investment that you can make for you at this time in your life.
