Care Services

We offer a unique service to our residents by having 24/7 Care Staff on site. The Emergency Call System provided to all residents works through the phone and pendant with a button to activate. The activation goes to our on-site Carers who will promptly respond to the residents unit. Speed of attention is critical in many emergency situations; something we believe is of great comfort to residents and families knowing that help is so prompt.   

Not only do we have an excellent emergency call system, we can also provide:- 

• Low care services.
• Medication ordering and delivery.
• Assistance with personal care such as showering and dressing.
• Medication supervision.
• Wound-care management.
• Blood pressure and sugar level checks.
• Escorts to medical appointments in the Village vehicle.
• Liaising with allied health care professionals such as doctors, pharmacists, podiatrists and physiotherapists.

In addition, we have three respite apartments available which include single and double-bed rooms. They are also very convenient for family or guests to stay in whilst visiting a resident. These rooms are available for short-term stays only. Individual care programs are also available for these respite rooms. 

If residents require access to Community Care, our staff can assist in directing to the appropriate agencies. We can also provide the care services managed by the agency under a brokerage arrangement. This means residents will feel comfortable with one of Ocean Gardens carers assisting rather than a variety of visiting carers.
